Delta IV Medium 5,2 variant- Last Flight

On Jan 12, 2018 the Delta IV Medium 5,2 variant was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base SLC-6 pad. This was the last flight for the Medium 5,2 variant.
The rocket carried the secret NROL-47 satellite for the US National Reconnaissance Office – NRO.
To learn more about the mission and its satellite, read here.

The model used for this presentation is my Delta IV Medium in the 5,2 configuration depicting the logo for the NROL-47 mission. This model is in 1:96 scale and is available at my website for free along with the Launch Table pad. The pad was designed by Michael Knobloch from Germany.
Enjoy the photos.

As is customary with every ULA’s launch, the mission was dedicated to a ULA team member, Mike Hewitt.
