Soyuz MS-05 arrives at ISS

Soyuz MS-05 was successfully launched on July 28, 2017 with Expedition 52 flight engineer Sergei Ryazanskiy (Roscosmos), flight engineer Randy Bresnik (NASA) and flight engineer Paolo Nespoli (ESA) from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

The 134th flight of a Soyuz spacecraft employed the accelerated 6 hour rendezvous profile that aimed taking the crew after just four orbits around the planet instead of the two day trip to the station.
The automatic rendezvous will setup for docking to the station’s Rassvet module.
