Soyuz MS-03 departure from ISS

On June 1, 2017, the crew of Soyuz MS-03 comprised of Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet, departed the ISS and returned to Earth after a 196 day mission.

Soyuz MS-03 undocked from the Rassvet russian module early Friday, leaving crewmate Peggy Whitson behind for an extended mission.

Soyuz commander Oleg Novitskiy and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet, touchdowned on the steppe of Kazakhstan at 10:10 am EDT.
