Soyuz MS-02 departure from ISS

Astronauts Shane Kimbrough, Sergey Ryzhikov and Andrey Borisenko, undocked from the ISS on April 10, 2017 closing out an extended 173 day mission.

Soyuz MS-02 departed the station’s POISK module leaving behind Soyuz MS-03 crew mates Oleg Novitskiy, Peggy Whitson and Thomas Pesquet.

With the departure of the Soyuz MS-02 crew, Whitson, Novitskiy and Pesquet will wait for the arrival of the Soyuz MS-04 crew.
Peggy Whitson is now the ISS Commander and has an extended stay by three months to maximize US research aboard the ISS.
