New Progress MS cargo ship docks with ISS

Progress M-28M (60) departed the ISS on Saturday Dec 19, 2015 after a 5 month mission, making room for the first Progress MS spacecraft.

The first spacecraft in a new generation of Russian Progress cargo vehicles launched from Baikonur on Dec 21, 2015 and arrived at ISS on the 23rd. Progress MS-01 (62P) docked to the PIRS module over western Mongolia. It carries upgrades that will fly on Soyuz crew capsules beginning in mid-2016.
It will remain attached to the space station until early July 2016.
