Soyuz TMA-16M departure from ISS

The crew of Soyuz TMA-16M undocked from the aft section of the Zvezda Service Module at 17:29 EDT on Sep 11, 2015. The departure brings the size of the Space Station crew back to six after nine people lived aboard the station for the last week.

The returning crew is comprised of veteran Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen and Kazakh cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov.
Padalka is concluding a 168 day mission and will have logged more than 878 days in space at the time of landing. His time in orbit over five spaceflights since 1998 will make Padalka the record holder for cumulative space endurance.

This is the current configuration of the Russian segment after the departure of Soyuz TMA-16M.

The Soyuz TMA-16M landed safely in Kazakhstan at 20:51 EDT on Sep 11, 2015.
