Soyuz TMA-18M arrival at ISS

On Sep 4, 2015, the Soyuz TMA-18M docked to the ISS POISK module at 3:39 am EDT after a two day 34- orbit rendezvous.
The Expedition 44 crew commanded by Gennadi Padalka, will receive the new crew members Sergey Volkov and visiting members Andreas Mogensen (ESA) and Kazakh cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov, bringing the station’s crew to nine temporarily.
This is the third time in history that there have been 3 Soyuz at ISS.

5 Vehicle Configuration

The ISS now has 5 spacecraft and 9 crew members. The new Soyuz TMA-18M is docked to the POISK mini-research module. Soyuz TMA-16M is docked to the Zvezda Service Module. The Progress 60 is docked to the PIRS docking compartment. The Soyuz TMA-17M is docked to the Rassvet mini-research module. Japan’s HTV-5 “Kounotori5” is berthed to the Harmony module.
